Consultation & Technical Services
Consulting & Technical Services activities are one of the most important forms of professional services that use the expertise and research results of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) staff, especially academic staff. The Consultancy & Technical Services carried out also aim to increase professionalism, help the development of the country and provide financial returns to UMP. It is closely related and coincides with the main objective of the establishment of UMP. One of the main objectives of UMP is to produce skilled graduates through competitive engineering and technology programs. In addition, UMP wants to lead the latest initiatives in the field of research related to the industry as well as be a leader in providing services to the industry and the community based on expertise and areas of expertise. UMP also aims to become an institution that practices excellent management and work culture
Intellectual Property
Intellectual Property in UMPSA is applicable and governed by its own policy and adheres to all UMP’s Staff, whether permanent, contractual, and/or part-time, registered undergraduates and postgraduates students, visiting and adjunct lecturers and/or professors, Visitors, and all person who are described to have legal and binding relation with the UMPSA.

Spin-off Company
A company in which the university or a subsidiary of the university has an equity stake in the company.
Start-up Company
A company that commercializes technology or intellectual property owned by the university where the university or a university subsidiary does not have an equity stake in the company
